Please explain this interaction in Patriot Games
@Grosvenor ... but he's not necessarily saying he agrees with Cantor's assessment - he's merely saying that he interrupted him and is inviting Cantor, now in his presence, to repeat it. Jack now has an ally in the conversation

@gidds the delivery is fairly straight too, but that kind of line where a character asks another to resume something that is now obviously a little silly, is a bit of a trope. Now that Greer is in the room, its going to be a bit harder to be so dismissive of Jack.

Was the absence of black people in Jacques Tati's Play Time normal at that time and just a reflection on social norms of Paris?
Removed unnecessary comment - the answer stands without this opinion / observation

What is this female voice sound commonly heard on police radios in U.S. action movies?
I agree that it appears to be a duplicate of this question - I've re-opened and re-closed as a duplicate to make that clear. As galacticninja states, if your question is not a duplicate, please edit and make it clear how it is different.

Why do the characters in the movie speak incorrect English?
@jamesdlin haha - no - I'm just British so I always think "Oxford" when dictionaries are mentioned.

@Miss_Understands I appreciate that you feel the close votes were somehow targeted at you. I do feel this perception is not particularly fair. It is not unreasonable for someone to think that something can only be answered by opinion - it doesn't necessarily indicate targeting. Personally I feel its better to err on the side of allowing a question to remain open and hope there is some decent objective analysis in the answers.

I did a bit of a tidy up of the comments - which were getting a little out of hand. Apologies if you feel I was a litle over eager

What does a doctor inject Logan Roy with?
Or it could be entirely made up. The purpose is to show Logan putting his control of the business in front of his health. He values that more than potnetial nerve damage. The show is quite vague about his exact health situation - yes he had a stroke in S1E1, but he is also suffering from more chronic conditions than that.

Children's sci-fi movie from mid-70s to early 80s about a child inventor
Was this from the USA/Canada? If not ... do you know where it may have been from?

What is the reason Kendall's car does not have a frontal license plate displayed?
That Person of Interest Wiki asserts that they check with the NY DMV for unused plate numbers, but I have no way of confirming that. In some other states they have reserved plate ranges for movie and TV production.

@YuZhang not at likely. It seems that this plate has been used multiple times on multiple vehicles on movies and tv. You can see GHO-7561 here for its appeances in just ONE tv show: personofinterest.fandom.com/wiki/License_Plates_of_Interest
