Samurai Jack s an American animated television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network. The series follows Jack, a time-displaced samurai, in his singular quest to travel back in time and defeat the tyrannical demon Aku. The series originally ran on The Cartoon Network for four seasons, from 2001 to 2004. The series resumes in 2017 as part of Adult Swim's Toonami programming block.
