In The Shawshank Redemption Andy told Red about his dream of pacific ocean and at last when Andy is about to break out he told Red about to visit a specific hayfield near Buxton to retrieve a package.
Now what i know Andy is in prison for more than 17 year and he does not have any information about outer world so how Andy was so sure that tree was still there after 17 year.
I know Andy hide that cache after he flee from shawshank , but how he was sure about tree in prison?
