The point of the title is in fact about contesting what both "last" and "Jedi" really mean, which IMO is what the film was doing, making us look back and ask what SW has been. IMO the narrative is pointing to an evolution in force philosophy, especially on the Jedi side of it, since the film centered on Luke and he passed the baton to Rey, as she becomes a Jedi... | |
