Perhaps he somehow knew, he shouldn't kill her--that he sensed something, and the plan was a convenient way to make it look like he didn't care. The new canon with both the first Darth Vader comic run and with the latest in the Doctor Aphra run, I think makes some interesting cases for how Vader dances around not killing women and dealing with all of Sidious' tests. | |
