I also believe one of histories of the invasion of Grenada discussed how the regular Army viewed (very poorly) the Spec. Ops side of the house--incl. sending in Spec. Ops teams without support or proper resources (like maps--apparently one unit used tourist maps). NOTE: I'm using the term 'Spec. Ops.' here b/c I don't recall which units were involved in the mission + SF units and command have changed significantly... @CGCampbell maybe you can fill in these blanks..? | |
