Voyager - a famous interstellar mission - produced pictures after passing Saturn. To me it seems too much of a coincidence that a shot in the Interstellar film Interstellar featuring a distant shot of the space station beyond a Saturn-like accretion disk had nothing to do with Voyager. What do you think? Does anybody happen to know if this was the inspiration? (e.g. an interview?):
