If a bill exists for this cabin's address, the police might find it while scouring the states for places he could be hiding. (Perhaps investigating rural areas by talking to the TV/ISP/Phone company to get a list of subscribers. It's not guaranteed to give him away, but like others have said, the point was to eliminate any POSSIBLE source that would find him out. | |

if a service call is needed , can you elaborate this part? What is service call?

Also there is no guarantee Walt won't do something foolish like try to communicate with his family if he is given access to the internet. | |
