Sep 1, 2020 at 14:01 comment added Flater @RitwikBhattacharyya: (1) There is no switch point between the Schrödinger A/B universes, they exist at the same time (2) It seems like the point of divergence for the Schrödinger A/B universes is Jonas' survival during the apocalypse. Using basic Schrödinger theory, up until that point the universes would have been the same and only diverged then and there. However, because we're also dealing with time travel where the A/B (post-split) characters are able to travel back into the still joined pre-split universe, this becomes much more complex and is never truly answered by the show.
Sep 1, 2020 at 13:10 comment added Ritwik Bhattacharyya it refines the current answer. What isn't clear to me is this when the switch point occurs? Like the intersecting portion of the loop when it happens? And the duality in reality that happens all the time or only when it reaches the intersecting point of the loop? @Flater
