comment black and white sci-fi
British? American? Some other language? Was it Quatermass 2? (I am notorious for suggesting that out of the blue. I have to be right sometime!)

+1 in case all the down votes are from cynics who thought you were trolling.

@MANI, no, that really is Jaden Smith, Will Smith's son.

comment What old 50's or 60's Sci Fi movie is this scene from?
It's worth watching even if it isn't the one you were thinking of!

comment When did each Horcrux get destroyed in the Harry Potter movies?
No, Quirrel was possessed by Voldemort, but not a horcrux.

I've added a shot from this fan-made trailer (@t = 1m 49s) youtube.com/watch?v=1a6iN4g0hSI.

I think the stairway curves around above this shot. Also, it could have been from the other version (I think this shot is from the miniseries and you may have seen the film). I'll see if I can find another view.

"Done by" here means "filmed by," not "written by."

@Jamie - you can accept my answer if you still agree with it.

comment People hiding while a spaceship vacuums up other people
Agreed that it doesn't end the film, but it does lead to the beginning of the end. And... the OP says in one of the comments under the question that this is the one, which I find a compelling reason to retain my answer.

comment Why are James Bond roles not played by American actors?
James Bond was played by an American actor, Barry Nelson, in his first video outing. But that wasn't a cinematic film.

Wasn't there a scene like this in the remake of War of the Worlds?

Maybe Harry Potter is a true story?

comment Why is it always the same type of beer cup used in college-style movies/series?
Possibly, but would have thought this is too generic an item to work well as product placement. They could be using "the original" or a copy, and we wouldn't be able to tell.

I thought that was implicit in their being commonly encountered, but your right, I should state that directly.

comment How are fake reality shows not false advertising? And if they are, why do they get away with it?
@BenPlont Right, I should have stated that explicitly. I'll update.

I didn't take your comments as suggesting I was being Daft.

I agree with you, of course, which is why I put that as a comment rather than as an answer.

@Daft - have you seen OHMSS? If not, it's definitely worth a watch, as one of the most under-rated, and definitely most poignant, Bond film.

The worst is the broken heart.
