I think the stairway curves around above this shot. Also, it could have been from the other version (I think this shot is from the miniseries and you may have seen the film). I'll see if I can find another view.

Agreed that it doesn't end the film, but it does lead to the beginning of the end. And... the OP says in one of the comments under the question that this is the one, which I find a compelling reason to retain my answer.

Possibly, but would have thought this is too generic an item to work well as product placement. They could be using "the original" or a copy, and we wouldn't be able to tell.
