Shouldn't the question be something like "Why are the Daniel Craig Bond films less gadget-oriented than the earlier ones the series?" As it is worded now, the question implies that James Bond himself is not tech savvy, which is a completely different question (and inaccurate, I think).

Nov 29	comment	Why couldn't Bond have backup at the battle of Skyfall? I believe it was alluded to earlier in the film that only someone with an inside knowledge of MI6 could accomplish what Silva did. This was, of course, before they found out it was Silva who was behind the attacks.

But that doesn't really explain it. Maybe so that they could be prepared and force him to improvise? That also sounds flimsy. Looking forward to an answer here!

I am a UMD alum and am confident that I could figure out if they're actually there or not. We did definitely have St. Elmo's Fire, National Treasure 2, and some (probably) hilariously bad movie starring Corey Haim called Life 101 filmed on-campus!

But what this answer needs to be over-the-top, super-mega-awesome is some sort of citation to back up what you're saying here. Can you provide the episode wherein Dent and Wayne built Blackgate? Or perhaps provide an example of the video games mentioning Blackgate?
