comment Why Ava behaved like that with Caleb?
From a screenwriting perspective, I think Ava left Caleb to show us viewers that it is not just the Nathan-type selfish/heedless scientists who will have to suffer from AI. Instead, AI could turn on all of us -- even those of us who are good guys, like Caleb.

comment “No Country for Old Men”, why is it called so?
+1 this answer is spot-on, and better than mine on this page. And I appreciate the theory about the meaning of the car accident scene... I think you're on to something there too. Maybe it showed Anton was vulnerable to the whims of fate, while Ed Tom Bell was protected by a guardian angel of some sort? In any case, fun to ponder!

comment Is Jeffrey involved in the virus plot or just the animal-release plot?
+1 OK, now you have me doubting my own answer to my own question! The script changes DEFINITELY add ambiguity. Wow, this is a tough one...

comment Did the same dog play Einstein in Back to the Future I and II?
Ah, Tiger. What a performer. His head twist in BTTF (pictured above) is widely recognized as one of the greatest moments in animal performance history. Per the unauthorized bio, Tiger never got over being replaced by Freddie, and eventually died alcoholic and broke. Meanwhile, rumor is Freddie has a new reality show in development with Bravo...
