Why does Weyland have to hide that he was on the ship? @ Dr, there is scene after he comes out of cryosleep in which she initially visits him in a hopeful, loving manner -- but he rejects her, cementing her hatred of him. |

Ending of Source Code +1 great answer indeed. just following up, what happened to Stevens in the original universe? Did his body stay there while his consciousness continued to frolic in the alternate universe? |

How did Movie 43 get so many big name stars? great question. from what I read, many people who have had the misfortune of seeing this movie actually seem upset with its big-name stars for participating. |

Did James Bond fail his mission in “Skyfall”? I think the key is " M didn't want anyone else to die because of her"... seems the unofficial mission was to kill Silva so he couldn't do more large-scale harm... saving M would have been a bonus, but was not the ultimate goal. Answer accepted. |

In “Django Unchained” what was meaning of Schultz's flashback of dogs? +1 to me, it was more of a transformation: Schultz begins the movie mildly opposed to slavery and ends the movie fiercely hating slavery. But either way could support your idea that he then killed Candie out of disgust over slavery. |

In “Django Unchained” what was meaning of Schultz's flashback of dogs? +1 good points. I edited the question to remove the references to Broomhilda, which were not necessary. |

What was the purpose of Candie's handshake in Django Unchained? @Christian now that you mention it, I might ask a second question about what Candie had in mind... |

What was the purpose of Candie's handshake in Django Unchained? That explanation makes sense, Matt - thanks. Although I took the flashback to the dogs as Schultz thinking "he's going to kill us anyway, so I might as well take him out." |

What was the purpose of Candie's handshake in Django Unchained? So Schultz essentially committed suicide, just to win a battle of egos? To me, such recklessness would be inconsistent with his character's behavior through rest of film. But maybe that was the point -- maybe that's how upset Candie made him. Hmm. |

Identify a movie where boy controls his family @SAFX yes, in color. Apparently there is an older black-and-white Twilight Zone episode on the same subject (see other answer). |

What would be the equivalent of the carnivorous island? I can't recall if there were meerkat bones in the boat. But if there were, I would interpret them as reminders of Pi's changed outlook. (I just overhauled my answer, BTW) |

in Skyfall opening scene on train, does Bond fake getting shot? Win, check the photo with the original question above. As I recall, that scene includes both shots of Bond directly and shots of Bond in the mirror. I also recall thinking that the wound seemed to change sides, but then realizing it was the mirror. |
