This might give more insight in freeway statistics but I have no idea where to look: fhwa.dot.gov/policyinformation/statistics/2012

"First in Freeways" could mean where the first freeways were constructed, according to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstate_Highway_System that could be Missouri, Kansas or Pennsylvania. In terms of amount of freeways it could be New York (31 interstate freeways) or California (most miles of freeway) but both sources are unreliable and I can't find any better (wiki.answers.com/Q/…, ask.com/question/…)

I'm not a US citizen so most of these go straight past me, but I found this one: strangemaps.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/popvssodamap.gif. Looks like "Where soda meets pop" is most likely New York, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin or Illinois.

I went on a hunt and found The Code Book (wasn't sure if I still had it), and I just got The Simpsons and their Mathematical Secrets for early Christmas, so I'll do some homework this weekend.

I tried running a few of the codes through rot47.net/base.html but to no avail. I tried converting them from different bases (36 and up) to binary, and then running that through a binary -> ascii converter. Nothing would even parse as the binary wasn't divisible by 8. This probably confirms my suspicion that these are not simply text to base x encrypted codes.

comment What happens in a Rocky Horror Picture Show showing and why?
Hmm, maybe this is what I did wrong then. I watched it at home, and completely hated it. Don't really see myself enjoying a 'proper' viewing either though, but to each his own I guess :P.
