comment How was Optimus able to fly?
IIRC the jetpack (or an advanced/rebuilt version of it?) became (part of) the trailer starting with the third movie. I haven't seen the fourth one so far, so not sure whether this is indeed the same thing used again.

comment Why did they plug the drive into the network?
@invalid_id Correct, although it's disabled by default for most disk types starting either Windows Vista or Windows 7 (don't remember). Other platforms such as Unix derivates will ask the user as well. Macro viruses still require the actual file to be interpreted/executed. You're not infected just by having it sit on your computer.

Yep, but even then it's questionable what's used to view that data. You can download a virus or trojan, open it with Notepad, etc. this won't get you infected.

Okay, that's clearly a WW2 (or at least post ~'33) helm then. But at the same time those icons should have been on the sides.

Sounds odd, but might as well be his mind confusing pre-/post ww 1 stuff? Any change to get a screen cap of the actual helmet? They introduced the Stahlhelm back in WW1, so this might be a goof or something intentional.

comment Is the tank scene in the A-Team physically possible?
@VedranŠego No. You'll slow down the tank a tiny bit, but only by a marginal amount. You obviously heard about actio = reactio, so E_projectile = E_recoil applies, but don't forget the massive mass difference between the tank and the shell. If you see a tank shooting and there's visible recoil (like the tank shaking), then this is really just due to the fact that this recoil doesn't have to directly work against the tank's own weight.

Sounds like that classic spook/horror house approach. Anything else standing out possibly?

comment A movie about a man changing a destiny set in early 20 century in usa
I think I remember some similar movie, but I'm quite sure it played some time in the 80's or 90's. It might have been based on some of King's works, but not 100% sure.

@Jeff-InventorChromeOS That happened in series 5, so too recent. It's also missing the axe part.

comment What does Rory say to the Roman soldier in the Pandorica Opens episode of Doctor Who?
@Walt IMO he's the soldier outside River's tent volunteering. It's very unlikely it's been some ordinary legionary, so it had to be at least some centurio or someone with a message (which would again be unlikely given the situation and his reaction).

comment Why do directors make cameo appearances in their movies?
While I'm not sure about all your examples, at least Mel Brooks and Quentin Tarantino often just play regular roles in their movies. I wouldn't call those cameos given their significance in most stories.

comment Has Tom ever actually digested Jerry?
While it's the only one for Jerry, it's definitely not the only hinted at death for Tom: There's a second allusion at the end of the episode The Two Mouseketeers (decapitation) and I also remember Tom being dragged away at the end of Dicky Moe.

comment 5 go down - 6 come back - Who's the sixth?
That's up for speculation. If they left him on the ground, he most likely wouldn't appear on the sonar anymore and/or filtered out as noise caused by the ground. In a similar way, if anyone of the others carry him, his reflection would be merged with one of the other contacts.

Maybe they fear piracy and consider the 3D version harder to record or something?
