comment Couple in brick house with no exits, symbols on floor
Sounds like that classic spook/horror house approach. Anything else standing out possibly?

comment Which 80s music video had a white man in white-face in it?
Somehow sounds a bit like Michael Jackson to me... You don't remember any part of the lyrics?

comment A movie about a man changing a destiny set in early 20 century in usa
I think I remember some similar movie, but I'm quite sure it played some time in the 80's or 90's. It might have been based on some of King's works, but not 100% sure.

@Jeff-InventorChromeOS That happened in series 5, so too recent. It's also missing the axe part.

comment What does Rory say to the Roman soldier in the Pandorica Opens episode of Doctor Who?
@Walt IMO he's the soldier outside River's tent volunteering. It's very unlikely it's been some ordinary legionary, so it had to be at least some centurio or someone with a message (which would again be unlikely given the situation and his reaction).

comment Why do directors make cameo appearances in their movies?
While I'm not sure about all your examples, at least Mel Brooks and Quentin Tarantino often just play regular roles in their movies. I wouldn't call those cameos given their significance in most stories.

comment Has Tom ever actually digested Jerry?
While it's the only one for Jerry, it's definitely not the only hinted at death for Tom: There's a second allusion at the end of the episode The Two Mouseketeers (decapitation) and I also remember Tom being dragged away at the end of Dicky Moe.

comment 5 go down - 6 come back - Who's the sixth?
That's up for speculation. If they left him on the ground, he most likely wouldn't appear on the sonar anymore and/or filtered out as noise caused by the ground. In a similar way, if anyone of the others carry him, his reflection would be merged with one of the other contacts.

comment Why are blockbusters now only released in 3D for the first week/weekend?
Maybe they fear piracy and consider the 3D version harder to record or something?

comment Movie about a family vacation for an old man in the backyard
Sounds a lot like one common sitcom theme. I remember episodes of at least Alf, Married ... with Children, The Cosby Show, Home Improvement, and probably a few others as well.

@BenPlont Why not post it as an answer? Even if you're not 100% sure about due to mutants rather than aliens (might be hard to differentiate for a kid after all).

Don't think so. Why would they make it public, especially since he could have failed as well (and they obviously knew he'd be a failure in comparison)?

I don't think that test has been publicly available or anything. It appeared to me like some closed testing before they're letting him "off-leash".

comment Aliens and vampires don't sell?
Haven't heard of either so far, but just to be sure, those weren't meant to be direct-to-disk releases and those screenings weren't just some premieres?

Yes, true, but then again the finale has the same "can't shoot him" scene twice, just with slightly different ending.
