Why is international distribution so tangled even for recent movies released first online? You’re too focused on b.). You ignore ad campaign costs. You ignore performance considerations that drive agreements. Your axe to grind is that b.) is no longer applicable because of technology. My axe to grind is that people should not presume to tell the movie industry how to distribute their products, just because technology “can” do it does not mean it is the smart thing to do. |

How can I find tv shows/films similar to one I like? @Tyler – Ahhh. Humm. It sounds like a wiki page pretending to be an answer. I don’t presume to edit the question to add a “community-wiki” tag and also put some kind of standard explanation that it should only have one community answer. Is there a CW faq? Or do you just close it after it’s reasonably filled out? I don’t know anything, and will leave all this up to the pros (including deleting my entry, no problem there.) Thx! |
