comment Portrayal of Southern USA in movies and TV shows
A stereotype tag might be a bit too specific or derogatory, but I guess I'd agree for now. analysis seem justified, maybe even reception (but not sure about that).

comment Why was the wormhole placed near Saturn in Interstellar?
@MattD Yeah, and afterall "some of the best sailors can't even swim".

comment Has the Matrix canon or the Wachowskis ever suggested that the machines' co-dependence on humans is psychosocial instead of energy based?
Well, I hadn't made such fine a distinction admittedly.

Any idea how to get rid of that hollywood tag (apart from just tagging it movie and tv-show)?

Though, the top voted answer to your linked question already provides a good start, I guess.

Excellent question. I've read that theory before (more or less in the answers to those "why use humans as energy?"-questions here and on SciFi.SE), albeit never too elaborately proved I think. But it's an interesting idea.

comment Why is lotion used as a metaphor for masturbation?
@AnkitSharma While I agree that this question might be as on-topic as the question asking why people always cut their wrist in the wrong direction, it is still utterly irrelevant what other sites with entirely different scopes consider on-topic.

comment Why was the wormhole placed near Saturn in Interstellar?
Hmm, ok. But then the question is if the gravity that comes through the wormhole (which is the much more dangerous thing and indirectly causes the time dilation) wouldn't disturb the whole solar system's (or at least Saturn's) orbital mechanics anyway. But ok, that's what the security distance is for in the end. Makes sense.

comment How was the data transferred across galaxies?
In the movie supposedly through the wormhole, which was a direct connection. But if that is true to the physics of real wormholes (wut?) I don't know either.

What does it have to do with time dilation, though? The wormhole didn't have such effects, or did it?

comment How is Cooper's age justified?
@DarkKnightFan Well, it was just a throwaway joke and every one involved knew how the doctor meant it. If you built it too elaborately and accurately, it won't be funny anymore.
