comment What happens if an actor dies or gets injured on set during filming?
Please confirm that you are referring to actors on set and not actors who died off set. If that were the case, the aforementioned "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" and the more recent Paul Walker / "The Fast and the Furious 7" incident would not count as example answers for this question.

comment Why did the train need to keep moving?
@JohnSmithOptional - but John, even that doesn't answer the "why". Your suggestion of "if it were to stop, it would no longer be contributing the momentum necessary to maintain its forward velocity..." is not an answer to the question "Why does it need to keep moving"; it just places the burden of answering onto "forward velocity" making the question, "Why does the train need to maintain forward velocity", the answer to which, from a physical sense, is not "because" or even the allegory.

comment Why did the train need to keep moving?
@John - he's asking from a true physical sense, not an, "I'm letting the movie teach me a societal lesson" sense.

comment Where did the name “Guardians of the Galaxy” come from?
Let's add to this! Vance Astro, who was part of both teams is originally from the modern era and became a deep space astronaut who traveled so far for so long, he ended up in the future. When the original GotG (the team of future people + Vance) first traveled back into the past, Vance met his modern day counterpart, convinced him to never go into space, and accidentally activated the teen's mutant power. This teen Vance Astrovik... would go on to be Justice (originally Marvel Boy) of the New Warriors and Avengers.

comment What happened to Mike and Carol's former spouses?
The sarcasm of "inevitable climax" does imply that the other shows were about widows or widowers, so that totally makes sense. Way to go 1969, paving the way for internet snark everywhere!

comment What was the first film adaptation of a comic?
I think this will depend on your definition of "comic". It's my understanding that Flash Gordon was initially a newspaper comic strip, adapted to serial films, and not a full-fledged comic book until later.
