comment How is the age of man different from the people living on earth when he travels to another planet?
@MikeEdenfield - understood, and I wouldn't have migrated it without a discussion with the mods of the destination site as to whether it would benefit their content. My main point to ask the OP is interested in a movie, physics or religious answer. Since the movie is deliberately illustrating a physical phenomena, I would say an answer describing the physics is on topic. A discussion about the unnamed religion's view of time-dilation is not.

I think there may be a good case for migrating this to a site where it could be answered by an expert in religious belief. I don't want to assume that islam.se is the right place for this - so could you either confirm that this would be an appropriate place, or elaborate why 'movie experts' would be the best people to answer this for you?

Is there some reason you've asked this question here? We are 'movie experts' not really able to to provide anything other than analysis as to the content of the movie, and perhaps to its accuracy with respect to well understood physics. The philosophical or theological basis of the physics is somewhat out of scope.

comment Is it really possible to produce 99.9% crystal meth?
I recall hearing the show's chemistry consultant speaking on NPR. She said that the chemistry that is described in the show is deliberately non plausible / not fully described - for obvious reasons. Its set up in such a way that in the right 'area' of chemistry, but couldn't be replicated by someone in the real world.
