comment Coming to America sparring scene; stunt men, or self-performed?
That's most certainly not Eddie Murphy doing backflips.

comment Why are some actors uncredited in certain films?
A bit off-topic, but James Earl Jones originally declined credit for voicing Darth Vader: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Earl_Jones#Film_roles

comment How did Tobias end up as a registered sex offender?
@JohnSmithOptional I think this is real answer to the question, which was why the TV crew was there in the first place.

comment Why is it that most movies seem to be created in cooperation with some unknown studio?
Despite many have "Studios" in the name, these are production companies and aren't properly studios as we tend to think of them. Many are owned by well-known producers and directors (think Amblin Entertainment) or by A-list actors themselves as a means of developing projects (such as Cruise/Wagner Productions). Often they're the idea and execution side, and the major studios are the money and distribution side. That's the extent of my knowledge and I have no sources to site, so I'm only offering up as a comment.

comment Was the Lord of the Rings trilogy the first film series to be shot concurrently?
Don't forget Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions, if we're talking about sequels. However, I think Superman and Kill Bill are better examples because sequels are based off a known (and successful) entity, and there's less risk involved for the studio.

comment Father moves family into house where previous family was killed, might be the killer
Sounds somewhat like Sinister (2012) starring Ethan Hawke, but not a perfect fit given your description.

And Maggie Lizer "sniffing out" Tobias in her home.

comment How did they create the hole in Robert Downey Jr.'s chest for the Iron Man movie?
You can see Downey sitting under the prosthetics at 2:13 in the video in the question.

comment What was this movie with a real-life Assassin game?
Agreed, which is why I didn't post as an answer. But I'll have to check this one out.

comment What was this movie with a real-life Assassin game?
Sounds vaguely like The Running Man. Don't get any more square-jawed than Schwarzenegger.

comment Empire Strikes Back - Scene in Dagobah with Darth Vader
I haven't watched with the commentary, but this is how I always understood it. Had Luke not taken weapons, he wouldn't have confronted "Vader" or his own risk of falling to the Dark Side.

+1 for "strong in the source".

comment Why was princess Leia not executed?
@Dan "Jedi mind-tricks" (are Sith mind tricks different?) only work on the weak-minded. It could be argued Leia was anything but.

comment Why did the Reavers attack other planets instead of each other?
I think of them as the velociraptors in Jurassic Park: ruthless but cunning killers that work together for a common goal (so to speak).

comment How are underwater scenes in movies filmed?
Worth pointing that underwater vehicles are often models shot in fog in slow motion. No water involved.
