comment How were the scenes with Gazelle shot?
You're exactly right - they used green stockings with reflective dots to allow for post dimensioning to help with the animation plus also used computer controller cameras so that they could get a matching 'background-only' plate as the metal lets were inherently thinner than the actresses.

More importantly of course they'd really nailed the math/maths behind the 'whole room jerk-off' thing :)

comment Why does Arrow have so much Microsoft product placement?
Just a very small note: somehow the film "Sex Tape", which contains an ungodly amount of Apple products/services WASN'T sponsored by Apple in any way, I just don't understand that, it was offensively bad.

comment How did they create The Shadow's disguise?
Titanic did facial substitution in 1997, the bit where there's running through corridors with water chasing them.

No idea who it is sorry but I just thought you might be interested to know that those shorts before and after the advertisement window are technically called 'Interstitials' but are referred to as 'Bumpers' by most in the industry.

comment Did Rose die at the end of Titanic, or was she dreaming?
I can recall reading that script on a London tube in the mid-90's and when it gets to the end pages being borderline tearful - so I knew how powerful the finished film would be.
