comment Why did Merlin give Lancelot the edge-of-space mission?
Because "he is the main character, so he goes to the bunker" is the obvious (out-of-universe) explanation. I was looking for some other (in-universe) clues why Merlin did that.

comment How did Murph know about Edmunds?
Yours and Ankit's answers have the most sense to me and they are basically the same. You posted your answer almost 40 minutes earlier then Ankit did, so I'll accept yours as the correct one.

comment How did Murph know about Edmunds?
@StephenCagle After they return from "watery" planet, Brand asks Romilly why didn't he sleep which indicates stasis slowers aging or prevents it completely.

comment How did Murph know about Edmunds?
@minusSeven On Earth yes, but dr. Brand just landed on the planet. Even Murph says something like - "She just set up her base".

comment How can Batman run and climb in the pits without his knee brace?
@Dragos I agree and that's why I wrote second paragraph. Also note I used "very plausible". However, I can't find any better explanation how Bruce healled so quickly while he was in The Pit. Nolan wants (or wanted) to make Batman movies as reallistic as possible, but he also followed the comic as much as possible.

comment Shutter Island - missing glass scene
I know this might be whole new question, but if he is really so afraid of water, why then he comes to island by boot and not, for example, by helicopter? He is even standing on the deck talking to Chuck.

@ChristianRau - I also looked at other comments and they give different explanations...
