comment On which existing work is Legends of Tomorrow based?
@AnkitSharma It seems like the Rip Hunter stories are what inspired the series most, from what I can tell so far.

comment Where did Ross sleep?
Probably on the sofa that he and Joey used to nap on.

comment Regarding Age of Ultron's post-credit scene
@NapoleonWilson I'm a little surprised they didn't just move the mid-credit scene to the end. I would have definitely sat through all the credits. I'm shocked that there are still people who don't do that.

comment What film starts with a home invasion and turns into S&M horror; 80's or early 90's (*not* People Under the Stairs)?
It sounds similar to Funny Games, but not quite. You might find it on Wikipedia's List of films featuring home invasions.

comment Where did the name “Guardians of the Galaxy” come from?
@JoshDM Vance Astro met his 13 year old self in an old issue of the Defenders too. He's a menace to the timestream!

comment Did Will forget who killed his father?
@iandotkelly That's not the actual quote from the movie. He's exaggerated it to make a point.

comment What did the diamond patterns on Fredrica's dress mean?
@CGCampbell After searching around a bit on Meta, I think you're right. It looks like the majority don't like spoiler text, particularly for old movies and TV shows. I'll edit my answer. Thanks for pointing this out.

comment What did the diamond patterns on Fredrica's dress mean?
@CGCampbell It's kind of a major plot reveal. (Even though I doubt anyone hasn't already seen Silence of the Lambs by now.) The spoiler syntax is only available on a few sites that need it.

comment What was the end conclusion for the movie The Man From Earth
@Arjuna Yes, according to John Oldman's account of history, he was the man written about in the new testament.

comment What is the biggest crossover universe in TV?
@ChrisJ.Breisch Good question! I'd love to see more details on how some of those shows are linked. A lot of them are obvious (direct spin-offs), and I even remember a lot of the cross-overs mentioned, but some seem pretty strange. This might spawn a whole series of follow-up questions.

comment What is the biggest crossover universe in TV?
@Michael Good question. That reminds me, Joey played a character on Days of Our Lives on Friends. I don't know if that links in Days or not.

You're welcome, @Dragos. I'll be watching the series again too, so I'll update this answer if I notice any more clues.

@AnkitSharma I'll keep an eye out for it, but it may be several films from now before we learn what this is a reference to. :)

comment Story about small girl, mother and 3 fathers
@AnkitSharma It could be either film. It's been over 20 years since I saw either one, but I think the mother had a bigger role in the sequel. James can just add the sequel to his answer.

From the description, I think it might be the sequel, Three Men and a Little Lady.

comment Is there any (real-world) significance to the numbers 28:06:42:12?
Interesting, I'd never heard of this before. This is called a Sidereal month because it's "the time it takes the Moon to return to a given position among the stars." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidereal_month#Sidereal_month

comment Why was the Avengers movie called something different in the UK?
Yes, "Suit up!" was his catchphrase on one of the early seasons of How I Met Your Mother.
