comment Who is the highest-grossing female director?
@Thunderforge For a single film, it looks like she'd take the top spot. Frozen is her only director credit to date, though, so she's got a way to go before she claims the top spot overall. If she keeps working for Disney, this answer should be outdated very soon.

comment Who is the highest-grossing female director?
@T.E.D. I think that's a valid point. They were both identifying as male (at least publicly) when the very large majority of that box office gross was made.

comment Is it necessary to watch “The X-Files” Movie before Season 6?
It's a minor point, but they had also closed the X-Files at the end of season 5. The film explains how they got reopened before season 6.

comment Why does Kara tell Dode to tell The Pin that Brendan killed Emily?
I can tell it's a twisty plot from the title of your question alone.

comment Who is Rey’s family?
I think Han and Leia only had three children in the now non-canon expanded universe. I haven't read any of those books in years, though.

comment Has there ever been a chain of art imitating life, and life returning the favour, like the one involving the film Taxi Driver (1976)?
Isn't this art imitating life, and life returning the favor?

comment Help me find title movie - us elections/mind reading
Are you sure about the details? There was a Dead Zone TV series that ran from 2002-2007. It featured an election and a character who could tell the future (so not really mind reading).

comment Is there a precedent for Girl Meets World?
It is not a "next generation." Isn't that exactly what it is?

comment Are body doubles ever listed in movie credits?
I don't know about closing credits, but it looks like it's very rare for IMDb to list body doubles along with the cast. What It’s Like to Be a Movie Body-Double lists several film credits for Laura Grady, but IMDb only credits her body-double work on the page for Coyote Ugly.

comment Why was the cast of FRIENDS unable to make it big to the industry after their hit TV series?
I used to really dislike shows/movies about making shows/movies, but 30 Rock changed my opinion on that. Episodes looks like a fun premise. Definitely adding it to my "to watch" list.

The Whole Nine Yards was released in 2000, near the middle of Friends run. Your point still stands.

comment Does Saul Goodman know Hank Schrader is a DEA agent when he comes to meet Badger at APD interrogation room?
Hank has not appeared in Better Call Saul, as of the end of season one. Dean Norris has no credit for the show. That doesn't rule out Hank and Jimmy meeting before the events of Breaking Bad, so we'll have to wait and see.

comment Was there any further relevance to the triceratops' desease?
@NapoleonWilson Actually, I'm wrong... it was mentioned at the end of the same article that the scene was filmed. "This moment is apparently the remnants of a deleted scene which was filmed but never made the final film which would have explained the reason for the dino’s sickness."

comment Was there any further relevance to the triceratops' desease?
@NapoleonWilson It is just a side plot to delay the group and to show them encounter a dinosaur up-close. I'll add another reference that says the scene was planned to be expanded. It's not clear if it was filmed and dropped during editing, or if it was written and never filmed, though.

comment What happened to Marshall and Lily's trip to Rome?
@algiogia If I remember correctly, those story lines where the group wasn't all together were mostly due to outside forces, such as pregnancies or actors working on other projects.

comment Was Edward Furlong allowed to watch “Terminator 2: Judgement Day” when it was released?
@DA Here's a recent WSJ Law Blog article that says that most theaters enforce ratings (the article is about a notable exception). Do Theaters Have to Enforce Movie Ratings? I grew up in the 80s and early 90s, so things might have changed concerning R-rated movies since I was young.

comment On which existing work is Legends of Tomorrow based?
@AnkitSharma It seems like the Rip Hunter stories are what inspired the series most, from what I can tell so far.

Probably on the sofa that he and Joey used to nap on.

comment Regarding Age of Ultron's post-credit scene
@NapoleonWilson I'm a little surprised they didn't just move the mid-credit scene to the end. I would have definitely sat through all the credits. I'm shocked that there are still people who don't do that.

Well, it is based on Shakespeare. ;)
