comment Why do the machines keep humans alive if they have nuclear reactors?
There are several factual inaccuracies here. "The Matrix" isn't near Zion, they need to use ships to get to and from places where they can hack in to the Matrix. The plan for the attack in the last movie was for them to wipe out Zion, the Architect says as much.

comment How did the bad guy actually die?
Tony waited until the full suit was on Killian (including the helmet) before blowing the suit. His entire body had cracks in the surface afterwards, as it was all healing/regenerating.

comment Why was “The Social Network” made so quickly after Facebook took off?
Zero Dark Thirty isn't a good comparison point, as they had been working on the film for a while before Bin Laden was found. It was originally going to be a movie about the long, fruitless search.

comment In Oblivion how can Jack and Victoria live in the sky?
@jampez77 They're no higher than a tall skyscraper. Those often have balconies on the penthouse levels.

comment Who is the person who passes in front of the narrator on the automated walkway?
@KeyBrdBasher That question is unanswerable. Due to the story being built on an unreliable narrator, we don't know the objective reality of events that occurred during the film.

Can you flesh this out a bit? Maybe add some detail on how it matches the question's description?

comment Is it legal to cut off the credits when showing a movie on TV?
Where I am (which I won't specify) without knowing what jurisdiction you're in, this is unanswerable, as this will vary by locale.

comment Will The Hobbit be released to video with the High Frame Rate?
@HughAllen It makes perfect sense, given the odd situation. You've asked a question, and will argue with anyone who disagrees with your 50fps hypothesis. You also won't accept an answer that says 'no, they won't be releasing an HFR version on blu-ray'. Ergo, you're only going to accept an answer that agrees with your hypothesis and/or points you to a blu-ray release of The Hobbit in HFR.

comment Will The Hobbit be released to video with the High Frame Rate?
@HughAllen Then self-answer your question already, assuming you will only accept that specific answer.

comment Will The Hobbit be released to video with the High Frame Rate?
@HughAllen Arguing this point with people here isn't going to result in the film being released in HFR. None of us has control over New Line/Warner Bros' home video divisions.

comment In which sitcom characters are baffled by new software?
@DisgruntledGoat It doesn't matter. He posted a (now deleted) comment that said he was trawling for examples of this, he's not looking for a specific show, just an example that he's planning on using for some presentation.

comment “Life of Pi” Final Insurance Report
Lacking more context (I haven't seen the film), that quoted sentence looks to me like it is saying that their view of things was that there was no tiger.

@atticae I have a reason to believe it was inspired by something.
