What would be the equivalent of the carnivorous island? I like your interpretation of that part of the movie, and set your answer as accepted. Like Shane, I would like to find a screenshot of that island, but couldn't. |

Why didn't the prisoners who helped Bruce try to escape from the pit themselves? @Christian Rau Thank you for adding this information, I did not remember everything from those scenes. |

Why didn't the prisoners who helped Bruce try to escape from the pit themselves? @Mistu4u I agree with your opinion, mental strength is more important to escape. Bruce had a stronger will to escape because he had his motivation, stuff waiting for him outside (the need to save Gotham and its people). The doctor saw in Bruce someone who could achieve to escape. He himself knew he didn't have the mental strength to do it (not enough motivation, maybe nobody outside waiting for him, and maybe life in the prison was not so unpleasant to him). |

Why is the bride's name bleeped in Kill Bill Vol 1 +1 for mentioning the reference to the movie "Made In USA". I thought it was the main reason for Quentin Tarantino to do it (as you know, "Kill Bill" is full of references to other great movies). By the way, the scene in black and white with the Bride driving a car while explaining the plot to the spectator seems to me a reference to the movie "Breathless", by the same director Jean-Luc Godard. |

What is the reason for setting the movie storyline 8 years apart? I would add that setting "The Dark Knight Rises" 8 years after makes more believable Bruce's injury in the knee that it would be after only 4 years. |

What would be the equivalent of the carnivorous island? [ EDIT] @Shane I like your suggestion (I actually liked it more when your answer was comparing staying in the island with falling into madness). I don't remember about the meerkat bones but I thought in the book the discovery of the island happened much later after the cook's murder, a long time after Pi has been suffering from starvation and thirst. Also eating fruits of the island that itself is supposed to eat humans (fact discovered by Pi when he finds the tooth) seemed afterwards like an act of cannibalism. |
