comment What is the difference between science fiction and horror?
The genres cross when they include one another. Horror refers to works in which fear is the intended emotion of the audience. Sci-Fi is simply science fiction. Sci-Fi becomes Sci-Fi Horror when it is primarily intended to scare, and Horror becomes Sci-Fi Horror when it contains elements of science fiction.

comment A movie where Girlfriend embarrasses both herself as well as her boyfriend
Can you describe the setting in any way? There are many examples of "guy gets a hot yet dumb girlfriend and ends up being embarrassed of her conversation when introduced to his friends". It's almost a trope.

comment What's the significance of Cobb's ring in Inception?
I just learned about this "ring" theory and had basically your exact reaction. I feel the top as a totem is a bit of a fault in a central theme.
