"To avoid criticism do nothing, say nothing, be nothing.."
(Elbert Hubbard)

I studied Physics at the University of Vienna, but I'm interested in all natural sciences.

Since I don't believe in life after death I try to explore and learn as much as I can about this world.

comment Would the post office really deliver Santa Claus's mail to some guy claiming to be him?
The United States Postal Service has a Letters to Santa program (also known as Operation Santa), which started in 1912.

comment Why doesn't John use a silencer?
I do remember him using a silencer every now and again. - And he definitely did use one in the last aired episode (early April) where he and Shaw go to a High School reunion.

comment What line was cut after “nobody's perfect” from Some Like It Hot?
Trivia: "Well, nobody's perfect" wasn't actually supposed to be the last line.

comment Is Frozen worth an Oscar?
Just a side note: The Wind Rises, which was also nominated, has a higher IMDb and Metascore rating than Frozen.

comment What trope would Indiana never leaving his hat behind fall under?
Just to clarify, the Indy Hat Roll is getting through a closing door just in time, but I think the OP is actually looking for never leaving an object one holds dear behind.

comment Are there any movies which use both a remix and its original in their soundtrack?
This doesn't seem to be an identify-this-movie question, but rather one that asks to name-movies-with-'X'-in-it.

comment Why and how did sherlock fake his death?
3. The way I see it Sherlock could have just lain down on the sidewalk himself. - Instead he runs out of John's sight so a man can put a bit of blood on his forehead, which seems pointless though, because once he does lay down on the sidewalk (replacing the corpse) his helpers put blood on his face again. - And there is no blood to be seen when the corpse is lying on the ground. The blood is poured on the sidewalk after the corpse has been removed and Sherlock lies in its place.

2. Sherlock faked his death so he could covertly take out Moriarty's network. - But he didn't need to actually jump to fool Moriarty's men because none of them was there to witness it. Plus, the 'Lazarus solution' only worked when viewed from the exact spot John was standing in. I'd say it appears as if the actual 'fall' was designed to fool John alone.

comment Why and how did sherlock fake his death?
1. All explanations could be fake - To quote Mark Gatiss, who wrote the episode: We’ve left in the possibility that Sherlock is lying his ass off.

comment Does Resurrection have a clear end?
@Paulster2 - Yes, but how is a vague "We have a plan" from the producers helpful? The people behind Lost also had a "plan" and the OP was burned anyway.

Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas previously created Reaper, which was canceled after the second season. They were however kind enough to later reveal some of the answers that were left open.
