comment Why such a complex plan to smuggle the poison to the Purple Wedding?
The poison came from one bead on the necklace (ISTR the rightmost one if you are facing her). If you watch the scene you can see the scene where the poinsoner takes it from her as they are talking

The framing of Tyrion was not planned. It just happened that he was unlucky in having motive (from being humiliated) and opportunity (being appointed cup bearer). These things could not have been predicted by the poisoner. Tyrion was just very unlucky.

comment Did Jules Winfield know Vincent Vega before the Royale with Cheese scene?
lol - two people look at exactly the same thing and get exactly the opposite interpretation! :-) However, the subtle lines like "You'll dig it the most" and "You know I respect you" hint to me that they did know each other. They could just be work colleagues that just met but, to me, they seem closer than just a professional respect.

comment Title of an action movie from late 80s, early 90s where Soviet is invading USA
@Paulster2, nope. It is a verifiable fact ... only joking :-). Agreed that is a matter of opinion but I was very disappointed with the remake and thought the character elements in the first were far superior and made the film a lot more interesting.

comment Trial of an alleged rapist. At the end, a single scene explains it all
Was the court room flashback shown in a split screen? The girl's recollection on the left and the boy's on the right showing the different way they were telling the story (what she was wearing, how she spoke etc.)?

Well they might become walkers and they might not, none of them would be completely sure. Would you want to chance it?

comment Can the police lie to make a suspect confess?
Yeah, that makes sense. I can imagine if I were being interrogated and they asked me to explain how they found my finger prints at a crime scene I would respond with "no idea, I've never been there" rather than something like "okay, I lied I was there earlier but I did not do the crime" but if my son's life was in the balance I would say pretty much anything.

But every question about movie and tv realism is by definition about realism of content. I don't see why this is any more off topic than other realism questions or question about historical accuracy etc.
