comment The longest gap between a movie and its sequel
If there was one every 7 years, that's really no 49 year gap.

comment Why do they never wear gloves?
Possible, but remember that the show plays in the cold war era. I'm not sure how far forensics were back then.

comment What significance does Mike Yanagita have in Fargo?
Welcome to the site, Dan! Very interesting theory, I guess I will have to see the movie again some time to see if it holds up. My memory of the exact events is a bit blurry.

comment Other Species' Lifespan Compared to Lions'
The bolded part is only intended to give an overview over the question and obviously not a replacement for reading the rest. If the op feels this is not helpful, he can easily revert the change. I am only trying to help, some people (me included) have troubles reading such a wall of text without some visual helpers. EDIT: And as I said, I think the better solution would be putting the examples in the back instead, my edit was just a compromise because I did not want to change any of the op's text.

I think what makes your question so hard to read is that you are not coming straight to the point. I bolded the actual question to make it easier for the reader to see where this is heading, but I think you should put most of the examples after the question, which would make the text much easier to read.

comment How close is Masters of Sex to the actual events?
It's a TV show actually, although I remember seeing a movie about the same topic once...

comment Is every appearance of a product in a movie sponsored?
Good question, but maybe a little broad, as I imagine that every production studio has their own way of handling these things. And the answer to "Is every appearance of a product in a movie sponsored?" is clearly no, and finding a single counterexample should be easy. But knowing this site, I am sure someone will come up with a good answer to cover the whole topic.

comment What illness did Scotty have that was treated by Dr. McCoy?
"but there is no way to confirm it's correct" Well, actually there is one. You could track down and ask the writers of the scene, what the joke is about. I guess what you meant to say is "there is no easy way to confirm it". (Yeah I know, I'm pedantic. ;)
