Evidence for and against the ending of Dark Knight Rises To add to this answer. In the movie Alfred states that he only dream is to see Bruce move on in his life, move away from Gotham and the deaths of his parents and Rachael. So in the end Bruce is alive and moving on (one can assume that he gets monies from Wayne Enterprises or has other sources). However we can be assured that Bruce Wayne has given up being Batman (proof is Blake is given directions to the Batcave). |

How long did it take Bruce to recover? Logically we can assume the bomb was started in late Sept - Oct since football starts in August however most season games do not start until after Labor Day. Also the way people where dress since Gotham is more or less NYC. So assuming the same climate the way people where dress would point towards that time frame. As for the time of batman's return it would have to be Jan, Feb for the river to be frozen all the way across. |

What is Bruce's alibi in the end? @TylerShads Sorry having a bad case of the brain farts.. The city assumes Bruce Wayne is dead because of the riots, they is no body but they assume its because of all the chaos. Not to mention Gordon, Alfred, Blake and Fox probably helped in covering his trail by telling everyone they saw Bruce die, maybe even a nice quiet funeral. |

In Inception, why do the kicks have to occur simultaneously? Because they need to rapidly wake up once the idea is planted so they can avoid alerting Fischer to other people being in his mind and screwing the plan. Other to wake up to get rid of the evidence (i.e. the devices and wires they had all over 1st class, and to unlock the doors before the crew came in). |
