First of all Spider-man doesn't have Organic webs in its starting stage in comics. He got Organic web later in the Comics series. In the Sam Raimi's trilogy of Spider-man he does not follow the real Spider-man comics story as it is and skipped the Artificial Web-shooters thing and even skipped the main characters like Gwen Stacy. So, you can say its ...

The new Amazing Spider-Man is a reboot of the series. In other words, it has nothing to do with the earlier three movies. A few core elements remain, but the rest have been changed. So it only makes sense since they're giving the franchise a fresh start to give the role of Peter Parker to someone else.

From Marvel.com: Gwen Stacy was Peter Parker's first true love. Next to the death of his Uncle Ben, no death has weighed as heavily upon Spider-Man's shoulders as her passing. From producer Matt Tolmach: The relationship between Peter and Gwen is very significant – the previous movies haven’t explored this until now. Gwen is a ...

Here's a quick rundown of the changes so far. Spider-Man In Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, the web shooters are organic mutations that were a result of the genetically engineered spider bite. In Amazing Spider-Man, they stuck to the comic book roots and had Peter invent mechanical web shooters that use a formula partly developed by his father. Peter's Past ...

This is actually easier to understand in the comics and the 90's cartoon series where Curt actually really likes Peter and respects his intelligence. You can also see that Curt and the Lizard are two different beings trapped in the same body (Jekyll and Hyde). From those other sources you see that whenever Curt comes back from being the Lizard he does his ...

From Deadline - 'Spider-Man 4'′ scrapped: (January 2010) [...] Sony Pictures decided today to reboot the Spider-Man franchise after franchise director Sam Raimi pulled out of Spider-Man 4 because he felt he couldn’t make its summer release date and keep the film’s creative integrity. [...] My sources tell me that Raimi told Sony Pictures: “I can’t ...

Don’t forget that marketing may start on a film long before a final print is finished for theatrical distribution. Often times, editors will have access to ALL of the footage when cutting a trailer, sometimes just specific sequences. It’s a collaborative effort where they approve whatever is used, but this is why alternate takes or even jokes are used in ...

No, Aunt May didn't know that Peter was Spider-Man nor did she have any inklings. Rather, what's she seeing is a teenager stricken by grief from the passing of his uncle, which he believes to be his fault, finally coming to terms with his passing and trying to get back on track. To Aunt May, Peter's just a teenager going through a rough time, getting into ...

History of Web-Shooters: ...one key spider-like attribute has historically not come naturally to Spider-Man: the ability to create webs. Instead, Spider-Man comes equipped with what are known as web-shooters, artificial devices that allow him to spin a web, any size. Spider-Man's web-shooters are fairly ingenious devices of his own ...

No one really dies in comic books. Least of all villains. They are always defeated, but always return again - either by miraculously surviving, having their name and mantle taken up by a family member of protege, or any other plot twist to return a fan favorite character to the page. While this tradition isn't as noticeable in superhero movies, mostly ...

Neither in the comics, nor in the Sam Raimi movie does Spider-Man kill the person responsible for Uncle Ben's death (in the comics he dies of a heart attack, in the movie he falls out of a window. Although Spider-Man 3 reveals that it was actually Flint Marko who shot Uncle Ben). I think the important part is not the death of the culprit, but the following ...

That's a good question. Even though this news does imply that the villains from the new movies will survive to appear in their own spin-off, it's worth knowing that there have been several different line-ups for the Sinister Six over the years - see this marvel Wiki page for more details. It is entirely possible that Sony could introduce a new member ...

From Wikipedia entry of Spider-man's power - The ability works through thin layers of cloth, such as the fabric of his costume, but not through materials such as the soles of shoes. When Peter Parker needs to crawl without changing into the costume, he removes his shoes first. Spider-Man's wall-crawling ability has increased with time, most ...

Having watched it again, and continuing with the Sinister Six theory I mentioned earlier, I now believe this might be the introduction of Electro. If you'll recall, the figure appears and disappears during lightning strikes, which would be the perfect cover (and set up) for Electro. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Electro features pretty ...

The Lizard often retreats to the sewers, lives in the sewers in his appearances in the comic "The Amazing Spider-Man". One of the more famous Lizard storyline The Gauntlet has him trying to get humans to act like Lizards, turn them into lizards. He does this whilst hiding in the sewer. Practically this is useful for a reptile who likes wet/humid ...

In the film it appears that he orders the webbing from Oscorp. However later in the film he does say that he invented the formula himself (IIRC talking to Gwen, so he could be trying to impress her). Speculation: I think Parker followed the age old scientific trick of starting with a known base (Oscorp's formula) and improving upon it thus allowing for a ...

It isn't neccesary... it's symbolic. Spiderman has had his webslingers destroyed by Connors, so he only has his adhesive abilities. In one hand he is holding the antidote, so he can't let go of that. When the tower collapses, he is thrown violently downwards towards the building. The only way he could survive the trauma of impact is to roll, and the ...

Well, according to this page on The Amazing Spider Man Wikia, and Entertainment Weekly, this is Gustav Fiers, AKA The Gentleman, a sinister figure with ties to Oscorp and the Sinister Six. From EW (about a scene in the 2nd movie): The final moments also feature a scene with Harry, now in his own cell in Ravencroft, taking a call from The Gentleman ...

Its a Reboot and reboot with same stars will look dumb. Take the case of Hulk and Batman both movies reboot doesn't castes the same actors. Its not the hard rule but if we are going to seen a reboot then we expecting something new, new story, new angle and obviously new stars too. Same movie reboot having the exact same script or same stars will look lame ...

I think they do that on purpose. Many scenes that are included for a certain trailer don't make the final cut when the actual film comes out. So maybe those are from the deleted scenes.

Specifically in the films, Parker grows a hooked chitin from his fingers. Assuming he cannot do the same with his feet, he needs only to apply compressive stresses (think arches) to transfer the weight to his hands. So his feet would supply minimal support where his upper body would compensate for every movement.

In the Amazing spider-man they are following the same path as th real comics accept for the wrestling part.In the real story the events occurs as - In high school, a radioactive spider bite gave Peter superhuman powers. Creating the costumed identity of Spider-Man for himself, Peter sought first to exploit his newfound powers as a masked wrestler ...

I've just watched the film again for the 3rd or 4th time and I actually think she does, because her reaction to the news and then when he walks in afterwards, she tells him it'll be ok, as a reaction to what she saw

Aunt May doesn't know that Peter is spider-man. She thinks he is a just a teenager having a tough time, and when he finally get the eggs, to her its just a sign of him trying to make an effort to try to get back on a better note with her.

The reason behind The Hulk's reboot is the negative reviews of the film (Its a different fact that some of people like me liked the old Hulk movie more). And the new Hulk film is also made up his entry in Marvel cinematic universe. For case of Spider-man Sony and Rami's Clashes are the reason for cancelling Spider-man 4 and then Sony decided for a reboot to ...

I believe he's actually talking to himself. Like he did earlier when he found out that Spiderman was Peter Parker. He had a conversation in his head about what to do. Now that he is in his cell, I feel the filmmaker just showed it how Connors saw it in his head. Remember, he's in a jail cell. If I remember right, when they opened the door to the cell it ...
