Horror film franchise based on the exploits of "Jigsaw", a terminally ill man obsessed with putting his victims in harms way via logic puzzles and physical restraints of his own design. The victims are given a choice, the choice to live or the choice to die. Choosing to live comes with a heavy price, which invariably involves severe physical suffering and disfigurement. Many of the victims fail to survive.
