As I remember she said "bozhe moi"(Боже мой) which would be "My God" or better put "Oh My god!" and obviously it is Russian. To hear it pronounced Google translate

The Avengers was given a somewhat different name because of the british tv show The Avengers. The new name was to help keep them seperate and to avoid any confusion for audiences in the UK. Wikipedia says: In February 2012, Disney announced that the film's title would be changed in the United Kingdom to avoid confusion with the British TV series of ...

When Loki tries to take control of Stark he actually hits the ARC reactor and not the flesh over his heart. Your graphic explains it best with the "Tink, Tink" sound showing that Loki is actually hitting the metal of the reactor. In the Avengers director commentary, Joss Whedon states it fails to work because the ARC reactor prevents the staff from ...

Although I have nothing to back this up, I am a writer and one of my characters parallels the Hulk fairly closely. In my mind, there's little doubt why he did it. He loves to hit things, he just got through having an aggressive fight, Thor is still upright, and he knows that Thor won't be hurt by it. It's like punching your teammate on the shoulder pads ...

Several factors led to the demise of Firefly, but ultimately it was a colossal mistake by Fox executives. The series was played at an unfavorable time slot, and to confound this, Fox decided to play the episodes out of order, insisting that the 'better' episodes play first. Naturally, this meant there was some confusion on the audience's part. Former Fox ...

How Bruce Banner found the Avengers: When Banner was aboard the Hellicarrier, his gamma ray search algorithm had worked out where the Tesseract was (Stark Tower), but before he could tell anyone Loki's machinations kicked in and he turned into the Hulk. After he went back to being Bruce Banner, he just found his way to Stark Tower, where the rest of the ...

Can't recall the particular shot, but the effect is commonly created using multiple composite layers Typically there will be three layers the person walking in real time, the person in slow time, the background Each is filmed separately as individual layers. For the "people" layers only the people (and I guess the punchbag in this case) are used - the ...

From the Visual Companion to The Cabin in the Woods: Some stuff had to get cut from the monster rampage sequence at the end. The Angry Molesting Tree, which you can glimpse in the elevator in one scene, got much more molest-y in another shot, which might wind up as a DVD extra. Also, one of Goddard's favorite monsters was Kevin, a sweet-looking guy who ...

I thought it was closer to "Боже мой" - an interjection "Oh goodness", "Oh my", or "My God" - but its the same sort of thing. "бог"(bog) would be Russian for God, but I think she definitely says "Боже мой" (bozhe moi). Though essentially they mean the same thing.

even after it's cancellation it spawned a theatrical movie release (emphasis yours) That was due to strong DVD sales: As an afterthought, Fox released the 14 episodes on DVD and something surprising happened: The expensive boxed set sold somewhere north of 200,000 copies. On the strength of the DVD sales, Universal green-lit a small-budget movie, ...

From Wikipedia: His background is explored further in the comic book Serenity: The Shepherd's Tale. Book was born Henry Evans, a boy who was raised by an abusive father. He ran away from home and began life as a petty criminal before being recruited by the Independence movement and moving out to the Border Worlds. Long before the Alliance begins the ...

They changeg the name in UK because of having the same name to TV show The Avengers. So they changed the name but only for UK. They said- “Well sir, with people who associate the name ‘The Avengers’ with the TV show, there’s a slim chance that they’ll get confused by the movie poster and so may not want to watch our movie.” Avengers Assemble name ...

Official wording? The answer is because Hulk is chaotic and unpredictable and loves to punch things. He's always been that way.

It was obviously a case of Hulk having the last laugh, so to speak and was intended to make people smile or laugh. I highly doubt that there is any "official" reasoning available for such a minor thing which is clearly intended for the viewers to make what they will of it, with the implication that it was in relation to their (Hulk & Thor's) earlier ...

Thor magically knew where to find Loki the first time, when he abducted him from the Quinjet. I suppose the same magic could have helped him find Loki the second time, too. (Perhaps Odin infused Mjolnir with some sort of spell to track Loki quickly.) As for Banner, that one's actually easier to answer. If he were looking for the other Avengers, he only had ...

To elaborate a little Banner was brought in initially to trace the gamma signature from the Tessaract. So i think he would've been easily able to spot the place where the show down is going to be by tracking those gamma signatures of that Loki's sceptre. As for Thor he is an Asgardian and brother of Loki plus he is the guardian of Earth. So he could've ...

According an unofficial script she said the following: Romanoff: боже мой. (Pronounced Bozhe moĭ - Russian for, 'my God'.)

Have you watched Sin city? I am supposing that Elija Wood's character Kevin could be the reference. I thought it could be a take on Jason from the story writer's perspective.

That's just a bit of character development actually. They want people to like Hulk so they're showing that he actually has a personality and a sense of humor (though a wicked one) and can show respect to a compatriot, in his own unique way of course. Gleefully arm-punching a buddy he's learned to respect and just fought shoulder to shoulder with shows that ...

Remember: Stark's father was studying the power of the cube. In Iron Man 2 he said only Tony could accomplish the creation of this new particle. It could have been a tesseract particle of some sort that Tony made with his new reactor. This could be why the spear of Loki didn't affect Stark. Just the same as the spear could affect the closing of the portal.

No, remember when right before Hawkeye attacked the S.H.I.E.L.D. ship, Banner gets a hit on the Tesseract and goes "oh my god". That was Stark Tower but he couldn't tell everyone because Hawkeye's bomb exploded and he turned into the Hulk.

I think the Hulk is a bit of an a-hole in the movie, not out of character for him or anyone who knows their power is unmatched. He undoubtedly remembers their battle in S.H.I.E.L.D.s' carrier and remembers he could not lift Mjolnir, Thor's hammer. He has a bit of contempt for demigods. Something Loki found out first-hand after announcing himself as a god and ...

Actually, as evidenced in the ending scene of The Incredible Hulk (2008), Banner already knows how to control the transformation. But, while he does have some control over the Hulk when the transformation is controlled (as opposed to having none when the transformation is spontaneous, like the one on the Hellicarrier), his control is not 100% complete (The ...

I thought the line: "That's my secret Cap, I'm always angry." suggested that he can control the appearance of the beast and that it is bubbling under the surface. The appearance of the Hulk is a problem when it is a reflex action and his life is in danger, e.g. suicide attempts, or the attack on the ship. When he is consciously bringing the Hulk out then ...

Before Hawkeye's arrow explodes, Banner is the one member of the team who walks over to the screen as sees the location of the Tesseract. He never gets the chance to tell anyone else. I don't know about Thor. I found this page by searching for the answer to that question. i think the theory that he can find Loki is a good one, since he found him on the ...

Hulk hates competition, and was still angry of the fact that Thor stood up to him.

I just stumbeled across this movie title the other day, and it reminded me of this question. The movie title was We Need To Talk About Kevin. I believe that this may have been the movie that was being referenced on the white board. here's part of the plot synopsis from Wikipedia: Adolescent Kevin Katchadourian (Ezra Miller) is in prison after ...

I have not seen this episode, but have read that the effect is similar to the "bullet time" special effects in the Matrix. The latter was achieved using 120 still cameras in a circle surrounding the subject. The still cameras are fired sequentially (for hyper-slow motion) or all at the same time (to freeze the action instead). The single frames from each ...
