Just back from seeing the Expendables and was wondering what was the last song the Expendables team sing at the end?

You might add why knowing what they sang was important, otherwise this risks being closed as trivia. – DForck42 Aug 29 '12 at 14:45
just being curious. – Milan Aggarwal Aug 30 '12 at 3:41
@DForck42 is it on-topic? – Ankit Sharma Aug 30 '12 at 7:35
Unless there is some big significance to the plot this song provides, this question just looks like trivia to me – TylerShads Sep 4 '12 at 14:32

That's the lyrics of the Team Hymn:

Beware Beware of What We Care,

Care for What You Do

OR Mumbo Jumbo Is Gonna HooDoo You,

Mumbo Jumbo Is Gonna HooDoo You,

Boomlay Boomlay Boom

It's a military cadence based on the 1912 Vachel Lindsay's poem "The Congo" (available here)

Hope this helps.

where is it from? Or was it specially written for the movie? – Milan Aggarwal Aug 29 '12 at 10:30
I just updated my answer with some detail :) – VoT Aug 29 '12 at 12:25
The words are actually "Boomlay" not Boom Leg – Monty129 Aug 29 '12 at 12:48
Oops. Fixed, thanks. – VoT Aug 29 '12 at 13:06
They actually say the "Boomlay" part three times in the movie. :P – user2008 Sep 4 '12 at 2:56
