At some point around season 7 of Family Guy I thought to sense a change in the animation style (IMHO for the better), especially of Peter Griffin. Before that the characters used to look kind of melancholy, with sad eyes, but now Peter's eyes are sort of "maddened".

First of all, am I just imagining this or was there really an actual perceivable change in the animation style around this time? If yes, when did this change occur specifically and what were the reasons for it? Was this just due to a different animator or was it a deliberate decision by the makers?

Do you have any screenshot examples? –  iandotkelly Mar 27 at 1:39

Given the fact the OP now appears to have closed their account, it's unlikely we'll get any more info on this and so I've voted to close. –  Andrew Martin Mar 27 at 9:51

I tried to make the question a bit more objective and tried to ask if there was a change at all, as well as further questions about the reasons for the supposed change. Unfortunately I still can't provide any screenshots, which could substantiate the question even further, but I think in its current form it already seems like a valid question and would propose reopening. –  Napoleon Wilson Oct 10 at 15:41
