The 90s had some stuff like that, like Kevin Sorbo as Hercules. –  Napoleon Wilson Mar 21 '14 at 9:30
Sorry @KeyBrdBasher about that. I do not really have a habit of reading user manual before using any item :). Will sure keep in mind by next time. Thanks for suggestion. –  Jai Mar 21 '14 at 9:55
Just because you took the pain of at least using the "item", I'll shoot a couple of suggestions. You can try Spartacus and Rome. –  KeyBrd Basher Mar 21 '14 at 11:17

A quick look at this Wikipedia article shows a few series (including Atlantis which you've already mentioned. The others are:

  1. The Odyssey
  2. Hercules: The Legendary Journeys
  3. Xena: Warrior Princess

Now, Hercules and its spinoff Xena are very loosely based on Greek mythology, but the Odyssey is straight from the tales of Homer.

It appears for this type of settings, movies are far more popular:

300 (2007)
300 Spartans, The (1962)
Alexander (2004)
Alexander the Great (1956)
Antigone (1961)
Clash of the Titans (1981)
Clash of the Titans (2010)
Colossus of Rhodes, The (1961)
Helen of Troy (1956)
Helen of Troy (2003)
Hercules (1983)
Hercules (1997)
Immortals (2011)
Jason and the Argonauts (1963/2000)
Minotaur (2006)
Ulysses (1955)
Troy (2004)
Wrath of the Titans (2012)

Thanks Andrew. I have been watching Atlantis and so far I met Pythagoras and Hercules. Pythagoras is ok but Hercules is like fatty, drunk and old guy. I was not expecting Hercules like this. Not sure what they must have shown in Hersules: The legendary Journey Series. –  Jai Mar 21 '14 at 9:37
