I remember watching a sci fi film which was set in space. An all female crew were sent to a prison colony to rescue the guard (I think there had been a riot). Upon arrival there were two people still alive, one identified as a guard and one identified as a prisoner. Both of them claimed to be the guard. One by one the crew were killed. I think the film was called 'Prisoner XXXX' (the four X's being his number).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

As mentioned in the comment the movie is Convict 762, made in 1997. The following synopsis is quoted from IMDB.

Convict 762

A spaceship with an all female crew runs into a meteor field because of a navigational mistake. They lose a lot of their fuel and realise they can't get home on what they've got. They are forced to land on a planet which has been reformed into one of the most dangerous penal colonies in the universe in order to refuel. Once there they realise only two men are left on the planet and they are engaged in hand to hand combat. The women can't figure out which one of the men is the officer and which one has systematically slaughtered the rest of the inmates. One by one each of the women is killed. Just who is Convict 762?
