I am trying to find a series I watched as a kid. I had a VHS in 90's that had animals driving cars and rescuing others, I think. I don't remember much about it. I think it was animals. They had their own helmet and clothes which I think were red, and had cars. I can remember a pole they slide from and into their cars.

If you have the VHS, why not just watch it for the title? – TylerShads Jul 19 '13 at 13:39
What sort of animals were they? Cartoon? Puppet? CG? Real!? – Liath Jul 19 '13 at 13:45
I don't have the VHS anymore. I think it was a bear and a rabbit. – Kristin Jul 19 '13 at 14:07
Oh, sorry, it was cartoon. – Kristin Jul 19 '13 at 14:08
Do you have anything else you could add? Anything at all. Animals driving cars and rescuing other animals probably describes dozens of animated shows. – System Down Jul 19 '13 at 19:04

The series you are looking for is called Jungle Tales. There's not much of information about it on internet but I managed to find this cover of Finnish dubbed series :) Sure that's what you are looking for.

There could be several different things this refers to.

The very first that pops into my head are the Rescuer movies:

These movies are about a couple of mice that go about saving children.

The next one I think of is TailSpin:

From Wikipedia:

TaleSpin is a half-hour Animated Adventure series based in the fictional city of Cape Suzette, that first aired in 1990 as part of The Disney Afternoon, with characters adapted from Disney's 1967 animated feature The Jungle Book, which was theatrically rereleased in the summer before this show premiered in the fall.1 The name of the show is a play on "tailspin," the rapid descent of an aircraft in a steep spiral. The two words in the show's name, tale and spin, are a way to describe telling a story.2 The show is one of the nine Disney Afternoon shows to use established Disney characters as the main characters, with the others being Darkwing Duck, DuckTales, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, Goof Troop, Bonkers, Quack Pack, Aladdin and The Lion King's Timon and Pumbaa.
