I am a big lover of whodunit movie style primarily because of my interest in the writings of Agatha christie and Stanley Gardner.

The movies which stand out among the ones(whodunit plot) I have watched over the years, for example are:

-Clue

-Identity

I am looking for this movie which depicts a murder in eight different perspectives. I think its a whodunit plot movie I saw the ad once on tv where they show something like a influential person like president is about to conspired and killed and they show 8 other characters trying to depict that information as to reveal the identity of the killer.

Kurosawa's Rashomon has the many views on one murder element (first time in film I think), but takes place in feudal Japan so the President is not involved. – dmckee Feb 7 '12 at 23:16

You might want to check this movie which I bumped into on my netflix account. It's called Murder by Death. It's a movie where they have all fictional detective characters like Poirot and Miss Marple and 3 others whom I forgot compete to solve a crime. The guy in Columbo plays the principal role in that movie.
