I am desperately searching for the name of a TV movie which I think was made between late 1990s and mid 2000s. It's about a couple who have separated. They have two kids, a boy and a girl (I think). If my memory serves correctly, I think the husband was an outward bound instructor and the wife owned a restaurant/café. They are about to finalise their separation and end up spending the night together. The kids get super excited and think that the separation is over. After a bit of drama they do get back together and are reunited at some type of guest house.

I cannot think of the actors or actresses but I'm sure it was a movie that was made for TV.

@Christian Rau, not sure why you edit like half of the questions? Does everything have to be so static and exact? – poepje Jun 12 '13 at 18:34
@poepje Not sure why you regard the improvement of other posts as something bad? Is bad formal quality a form of artistic self expression? If you don't do it, then I have to, no? ;) – Napoleon Wilson Jun 12 '13 at 21:24
Not neccesarily bad... I just don't see how changing every little sentence and removing words are improvements. – poepje Jun 14 '13 at 10:06
@poepje Well, even the slightest changes can improve the quality of a post. Being an international community of users from all around the world doesn't mean that wrong grammar or punctuation is just ignorable (even if it doesn't annoy you). Improving those posts doesn't hurt anybody and if I got nothing better to do in my free time that's entirely my problem. "Not neccesarily bad" - And that's enough, it doesn't need to be good either since editing doesn't cost anybody anything (except me and I'm willing to pay that cost). – Napoleon Wilson Jun 14 '13 at 13:14

There are a whole lot of movies about separated couples reuniting, but the one you're looking for may be Personally Yours (2000) (also known as Wilderness Love). It is a TV movie from the right timeframe and

  • He owns a ranch were he takes guests hunting and fishing
  • She owns a restaurant
  • There are three children, a teenage girl and a younger boy and girl
  • They are divorced and starting to date, so the children scheme to pair them up
  • They end up together again running a bed-and-breakfast place
